Telling tall tales with tails and tellers.

We're three cats in a trench coat making fantastical tales in all sorts of mad ways. We create scifi that doesn't play by the rules and fantasy that embraces the weird, in stories told through ink and panel and sound - any form that can take a flight of fancy. We also build playgrounds to help refine the craft or empower storytellers with possibilities that help them grow. Because the journey from idea to finished work takes many twists and turns, and none of us are alone in running it.

Playground

The whozits and whatzits.

Our creative works, completed or are far enough along to poke at, reside in this lovingly ever-growing dead space. Beware the zombies! Some projects require a Reader Account to interact.

> Gestalt

A supernatural mystery set against the backdrop of political espionage and a hostile wilderness. Take on the role of a spiritual observer and choose the path this adventure takes by influencing the characters around you.

Craft

Elevating tales and their tellings.

Eventually a work moves beyond tools. When that happens, we'd like to help. With structure, prose, or simply a careful read before your work goes out into the world. Because every voice deserves to be heard at its best, and we won't see any of them left behind. See our Tradework for more.

We also partner with creative groups that share our belief in community — because creativity doesn't happen in isolation. As creatives we all gain valuable feedback, find our voices, explore vulnerability, and discover parts of ourselves through the connections we build. That collaboration is part of the art. Join in Communities that suit.

We're constantly working on something new, so be sure to check out our Projects for goodies.

Human Centric Writing Feedback

A platform for writers to collect feedback from other authors, experienced critiquers, and those they know personally in a central place. People are too often expected by the industry to already know who to share their stories with or how to work with the feedback they receive. Manuscript.Ink offers human-centric help in bridging that gap.

Ahtarra

Magic Lost Between Fang and Blade

The fantastical and supernatural setting for many of our tales and toys - Ahtarra is a land of magic and intrigue borne on the shoulders of the creatures of aether. Bounty hunters are the law, any neighbor may hide claws of several kinds, and the elite of the spires pretend to be oblivious to the dragons outside their borders. Developed for our Playground goodies!

"Description begins in the writer's imagination but should finish in the reader's."
