The whozits and whatzits.

Projects

This is what it's all about.

These are a few projects we are currently planning/working on. If we're good little creatures, some may eventually make their way to the Playground for folks to enjoy.

Gestalt

A choose-your-own-adventure styled interactive story that sees corporate espionage in the middle of a supernatural mystery.

Redan's Delve

A three-part short story written for audio, following a treasure hunter's fateful dive into a locally famous and dangerous dungeon.

A Crystal Moon

Graphic novel collaboration project centering on a pair of hunters and their investigation into a small woodland farming town.

Havensfall

A narrative game collaboration with Discord. Become a rising werewolf of Riansen and navigate the lines of war and peace with other supernaturals.

The Eclipse Rune

Web-based territory control game that brings Riansen's secret struggles for power and influence to a larger region in a faction-based story.

Servitor Seven

A glimpse into the regular workings of the Marilith Zone through the output of a Communications Relay Servitor doing its nominal duties.

"There is nothing like looking, if you want to find something. You certainly usually find something, if you look, but it is not always quite the something you were after."

Company

We like to tell stories.

We write, we design, we develop, we build - we simply love to create new tales in any way enjoyable. Short form, open mic, roleplay, scripting, serial, or even crafts... If we can accomplish it we enjoy telling tales with it. And there are plenty of other ways we have yet to explore!

We aim to make fantastical tales. Something of fiction. Something of entertainment. Something fulfilling. Something explorative. Something of fantasy and freedom that gives an easy space to pour all sorts of creative energies.

So here we are. To tell our stories, help others tell their stories, and keep a roof over our head. With projects aimed at either expanding our collection of tales or playing at improving the craft on any medium. Some are for show and to browse, while others are toys available to be used freely, and a few are polished products we'll wave around proudly. You know, to help with that roof bit.

Everything available here is either of our own making or contains at least some contribution of ours and is designed for entertainment purposes only. Grinning Cat Studio is in no way affiliated with the producers of any products or material - in case we do make any references to other recognized properties, all rights belong to their respective owners. And since we also do a lot of collaborations: anything included in purchasable items is used with permission. We're here to have fun and keep the lights on not step on other creators' toes!
